For its milestone 50th release, Silk Royal label manager Jacob Henry has teamed up with internationally acclaimed label fixture Shingo Nakamura on "Words Unspoken". Jacob introduced the track earlier this year on his own Silk Royal Showcase 03 compilation, albeit in mixed form. Shingo, meanwhile, continues to assault the Beatport progressive house and trance charts with his intricate, melodic, and often club-oriented compositions. American producer-DJ extraordinaire Zack Roth and Slovakian veteran Peter Illias are also along for the ride, and their visionary remixes deserve equal recognition.

The Original Mix begins with a furious rhythm section and a trance-influenced bassline, which centers the track in pure peak-hour territory. A delicate arp and repeating piano motif combine with rich pads for full midrange support. Suddenly, at the quarter turn, we are met by the main vocal theme, an evocative tribal chant. The "words" are mysterious, but the unspoken message seems to be conveyed nonetheless. In the main break, a deeply emotive string theme is introduced, which combines with the vocal themes to enhance the emotionally resonant, African-inspired soundscape.

Zack Roth, the celebrated American producer & DJ, continues to achieve great acclaim not only for his peak-hour sets at major NYC venues, but also for boundary-pushing productions; more specifically, his recent work has received radio support by Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, and more. His interpretation begins with a buoyant groove, soon followed by evocative pads and a dancing arpeggio. The track takes off at the quarter turn, as the main bassline explodes through the mix, while various melodic layers rest delicately above. The deep, peak-hour progressive trance sound is reminiscent of the "vintage" era of the genre, which Zack is known to evoke in his live sets. The emotional atmosphere continues to crescendo, reaching a triumphant climax in the main break, followed by a killer drop.

Peter Illias, whose last single on Silk Royal, "Let Me Be", was supported on radio by Above & Beyond and many more, returns to our imprint with an energetic and richly emotive take. From the very beginning, Peter augments the evocative African influences in the song; he adds additional tribal vox effects, as well as a haunting pad progression. Meanwhile, a punchy, yet deep bassline groove adds plenty of power to the rhythm section. The most memorable moment in the track is perhaps the second of two extended breaks, in which Peter treats us to a variety of new vocal effects, which coalesce brilliantly with the moody and primitive atmosphere.

Versatile Russian producer and label resident Gregory Esayan is ready with a brand new EP called "One Way Ticket", including three outstanding progressive cuts. The title track, "One Way Ticket", starts off with a truly hypnotizing atmosphere, including a vast array of lush synth elements. Smooth percussion elements, as well as delightful chord changes follow shortly thereafter. An inspiring breakbeat emerges mid-track, beautifully accompanied by mesmerizing piano lines and pad layers.

Next in line, "Forever Child" includes a strong beat, intriguing vocal stems, and soothing background synth elements. In context to the song title, the theme melody tells a beautiful story, which is enhanced by the memorable vocal elements and synth structures.

Showing apparent inspiration from Spanish traditional music, "Ararat" includes a truly interesting guitar riff, as well as an energetic arpeggio line. The break includes smooth synth effects and a lush presentation of the main guitar melody.

Irish sensation David Broaders returns to Arrival, having gained significant career momentum since we last heard from him. Specifically, earlier this year on our imprint, he produced a standout remix of Reimu's acclaimed track "Wonderland"; more recently, he collaborated with Terry Da Libra on the Enhanced single "Loss Aversion", which Armin van Buuren just supported on "A State of Trance". His latest work, "Curracloe", comes with interpretations from label residents Vintage & Morelli and Matt Fax, both of whom have been supported regularly by Above & Beyond this past year. 

The original mix starts out with a soothing soundscape, including lush sound effects and pad layers. A haunting male vocal stem emerges, which is followed by calm and enjoyable percussion rhythms. Throughout the track, countless well-crafted and inspiring melodies are introduced.

Serbian artist Vintage & Morelli begins his interpretation with a strong percussion line and hypnotizing pads. A unique rhythm is soon established, with a groovy bassline and lush background synth stabs. The break includes a soothing piano melody, and the energetic theme riff continues thereafter.

The remix from French artist Matt Fax starts off with a lush atmosphere, containing soothing pads and intriguing synth stabs and background sound effects. The break introduces smooth piano melodies, and the track continues with energetic theme riffs, followed by lovely synth variations.

Since winning our "Wild At Heart" remix contest at the end of last year, Toby Hedges has garnered global recognition as one of the leading talents in modern progressive trance and house. A winner soon thereafter of Armada's "Love Survives" remix contest, Toby has been a fixture of late on Armin's "A State of Trance" and Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio shows. He also is responsible for one of Silk's top-charting tracks from the past year: his euphoric remix of eleven.five's "The Way We Were". Needless to say, we're thrilled to present his latest progressive stormer, "Images", which was a standout track from Jacob Henry & Tom Fall's "Silk Royal Showcase 03" compilation. It's now available as a full, DJ-friendly version, along with an equally climactic rendering by Swedish label veteran Johan Vilborg.

Toby's Original Mix begins with a clubby, energetic groove, as an ethereal, delayed vocal sample makes its first appearance. This emotive effect proves to be a central, recurring motif in the song, as well as one of the most memorable elements. Meanwhile, an uplifting and poignant lead synth begins to cut through the mix, as various pad layers enrich the "spiritual", world music-influenced soundscape. In the main break, the lead progression, combined with the vocal and pad themes, elicit a cathartic release in the listener.

Johan Vilborg follows suit with an adrenalin-fueled remix. A thunderous bassline and layered lead chord hint at the trance-centered bedlam to follow. As the track nears the main break, the mid-range layers are all filtered fully into the mix, in all their radiant glory. In the main break, the heavenly and fragile atmosphere of the original mix is evoked through the use of lush, yet delicate pads. The triumphant lead then appears once again, soon joined by an explosive and rapturous drop.

Indonesian artist LTN joins Arrival for the label's 54th release, with his track "A Path To Nowhere". On remix duty is veteran German artist Jerome Isma-Ae, who was appointed "breakthrough artist of the year" by Armin van Buuren, and others, in 2010. He is now considered one of the international leaders of house and progressive, with countless top 10 singles and globally supported tracks to his credit.

The original mix quickly establishes an enjoyable atmosphere, including a vast array of gorgeous synth elements, percussion structures, and a lush bassline. The break sees the introduction of soothing pad layers, and the unique theme lead follows shortly thereafter.

Jerome's interpretation starts off with his signature percussion groove, and the melody riffs from the original slowly build up in the background. After the break, the theme melody arrives in full force and adds to the already jubilant soundscape.

One of our biggest releases this year thus far has been Nigel Good's "The Balance" EP, which was supported live and on radio by names as acclaimed (and wide-ranging) as Above & Beyond and Porter Robinson. We are thrilled to feature two brand new remixes of "This Is You", the opening cut on that EP. Called into duty for the honors are two tremendous veteran talents on our imprint: G-Tek, a leading artist rom Panama, and Blood Groove & Kikis, who continues to gain international acclaim for their diverse and prolific catalogue.

G-Tek's remix begins with an electro-tinged baseline, while gorgeous pads punctuate the soundscape. As the song continues to crescendo, we are met by a hypnotic and truly euphoric series of vox stabs. In the main break, funky and truly radiant pads, a G-Tek signature, set the mood, while the deeply moving lead vocal makes its entrance. In addition, a piano instrumental adds deeper emotional resonance to the tune. When the vox re-enter the mix at the drop, the listener is treated to one of G-Tek's finest moments in his illustrious career.

Blood Groove & Kikis take a "classic" progressive approach to their rendering. Warm vibes permeate the tune from its onset, as a gentle, end-of-summer groove playfully guides the listener along. A lovely piano progression joins the lead synth layers, which, together, offer blissful, beachside textures. The irresistible melodies in this one prove that Blood Groove & Kikis have quickly become one of the finest acts in the genre.

Nearly a year ago, Dan & Sam dazzled progressive fans with their Silk Royal debut "Breaking The Illusion". Since that time, they have continued to write intelligent and deeply poignant club-oriented tracks, such as "Walls" (feat. Maxx Hennard), which won the "Push The Button" vote on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy" radio. We're thrilled to present their third original single on Silk Royal, "An Interesting Dream", which also comes equipped with a tremendous interpretation by American sensation eleven.five.

The Original Mix kicks off with a tech-influenced groove; Dan Sieg, 1/2 of the duo, has been dabbling in deeper, darker shades of house and progressive under his solo alias in recent months. Yet, as the track approaches the main break, we start to hear the synth "swells" more associated with their more familiar, big-room sound. In the main break, we are met by a suspenseful, yet truly gorgeous main theme. The tune comes to a climax at this moment, heightened by the crescendoing percussion. The drop to follow, perhaps to the surprise of the listener, reverts back to the more subdued groove, thereby releasing the "tension" of the dream and suggesting that any potential nightmares have been averted.

The one and only remix comes from eleven.five, who not only is a good friend of Dan & Sam, but who, in similar fashion, has been gaining consistent radio play by the industry elite, especially in the past year. Known for a great versatility in his sound, he has chosen to give this one an uptempo interpretation. The track jets out of the gate with a gut-busting, electro-tinged bassline. In the background, the ominous strings start to creep into the mix. During the main break, a moving piano solo joins the symphonic instrumentation. The percussion then builds back up, ultimately leading into a roaring drop, one of eleven.five's most impactful to date.

LTN has undoubtedly been one of the great breakthrough stories of 2013. With a prolific output of globally supported singles, including our Arrival division's recent "A Path To Nowhere" release, the Indonesian sensation has already made a convincing case that he is one of the finest Trance & Progressive producer-DJ's to emerge in recent years. We're proud to present his latest contribution, "Fly Me Home", a collaboration with rising Japanese talent Apsara.

The Original Mix features a deep, chunky groove, as a series of hypnotic vox stabs punctuate the mix at repeating intervals. Lush pads and a hallucinogenic arp line also enhance the melodic texture. In the main break, the vocal opens up a bit more into a full "ooh"; meanwhile, the arp lines crescendo, to truly ethereal effect.

Matt Fax, another artist who has witnessed a meteoric rise this year, delivers the first of two remixes. A resonant groove jets out of the gate, as various arp lines give the tune lots of mid-range "body" in the early going. In the main break, a low frequency pad progression, coupled with the glorious arp lines, signal the "epic" drop to follow. The latter half of the tune features numerous goosebump-inducing moments, not unlike the music of one of Matt Fax's great influences, Soundprank.

Finally, trusty label veteran G-Tek has crafted another club-friendly, uplifting, and intricately crafted remix. A resonant, 80's-inspired bassline and rhythm section provide a meaty foundation for the radiant synths and reverb-heavy vox. In the main break, numerous layers of the lead chord progression join forces and offer a euphoric, stadium-filling theme. Following the launch of Schodt's much anticipated "Darkness | Light" artist album, our latest Silk Royal single showcases two stunning new interpretations of the album's lead single, "April". Johan Vilborg, now one of the most internationally supported talents on our imprint, has been tapped for the first of two new renderings, the second of which is from Schodt himself.

Known for ebullient peak-hour progressive trance, Johan delivers one of his most uplifting cuts to date. The track begins with the most distinctive hook from the original: a hypnotic series of female vocal stabs. Soon thereafter, we are met by an extremely funky, layered bassline progression; the mid-range pad layers are slowly filtered into the mix and then finally hit with full force at the quarter turn. In the mean break, a poignant piano theme is added to the affair, while the gorgeous vocals dance overhead. The drop to follow packs an enormous, stadium-rocking punch.

Schodt offers an exceedingly beautiful rework; veteran fans of his music will not be surprised by the chillout/downtempo direction he has chosen, as he has written numerous tracks in this style in his near decade-long career. A soothing and deeply heartfelt keyboard theme is introduced early, as a variety of early 'morning' nature effects enhance the soundscape. A light rhythm and a "flock" of swirling trance-influenced arp lines slowly begin to crescendo, as sweeping string themes take center stage. The cinematic orchestration, especially in the climactic second half of this one, will leave you breathless.

Danish veteran Schodt recently showcased his acclaimed debut artist album on Silk Royal, as well as additional single releases on the same label. His last appearence on Silk Sofa was with his "Moviola" EP, and now he's ready with "Sunset In Tokyo", which includes three inspiring downtempo cuts.

"Waiting" includes several well-crafted and soothing melodies, and a unique breakbeat creates the foundation of the groove. The piano line and intermittent vocal effects provide additional texture to the intriguing soundscape. The title track, "Sunset In Tokyo", starts out with mesmerizing bell melodies, and an enjoyable soundscape is quickly established. Smooth percussion elements and sweeping sound effects also help captivate the listener. Lastly, "Yours Truly" includes calm and blissful melodies, accompanied by lush percussion lines, high piano notes, and intriguing string layers.

"The Last Stand" has already received immense support on his SoundCloud page, and we're proud to finally present this song as a single on Silk Sofa. On remix duties, we are happy to welcome back veteran Swedish sensation Claes Rosén, as well as rising Australian talent Stray Theories.

The original mix includes beautiful, haunting atmospheres, accompanied by mesmerizing percussion elements. Koda himself blissfully emhances the song with his unique voice throughout the track. One of the most successful current artists on our roster is American sensation eleven.five. Thanks to a litany of top-charting singles over the past two years, including routine radio support by the likes of Above & Beyond and Max Graham, he has become a fixture on the most acclaimed international progressive and trance shows. His deep house single "Echo" was even featured on Armin van Buuren's recent BBC Essential Mix. We are thrilled to present two more timeless cuts by eleven.five, as part of a new EP.

The title cut, "September 16th", begins with a snappy rhythm, coupled with a euphoric, crescendoing arp line. Equally warm pads begin to envelope the lead, and a poignant piano line also cuts through the mix. At the quarter turn, we are met with an ethereal array of vox stabs, a key motif in the track. Later on in the main break, the lead arp "evolves" into a truly rapturous progression, especially when combined with the heavenly vox. The drop to follow is a simultaneously exhilarating and cathartic moment in the song.

The B-side track, "Thinks Of Her", features a radiant lead arp, coupled with a furious breakbeat. The soundscape is truly inspired, seemingly drawing inspiration from dubstep, while still possessing the more atmospheric and melodic elements of progressive breaks. In the main break, we are met with a crystalline lead theme, another mesmerizing anthem by the exceedingly talented eleven.five.
