This is a one hour recording of the HALO all nighter last December at Shelter Amsterdam. Where you would normally see a set climb upwards all night, we went the opposite way of ‘climbing downwards’. This seems counterintuitive at first, but I often find this subtle, introverted euphoria more interesting and rewarding than chasing climax after climax. All night long sets make these deviations from the norm possible. Happy listening!

Born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Jesse Joel Pollocks, known by his musical alias Kyotto, was immersed in a world of music from an early age, thanks to his family's strong musical background. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Kyotto has explored and mastered various genres before finding his true passion in the underground dance music scene. Inspired by renowned artists like Guy J, Kasper Koman, Dosem, and Khen, Kyotto's music quickly captured the hearts of many with its energetic grooves and uplifting melodies. His talent has earned him the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, GMJ & Matter, Mike Rish, DJ Ruby, Tantum, Ivan Aliaga, and many more. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Nimash is also one of the founding partners of Alldaymusic, Entourage & Tellheryouloveher, 3 successful event companies based in Sri Lanka.

Hi friends,
It's been a while, so here's the first 4 hours from my set at Stereo Montreal
Just a few words about that night: First of all, I had high expectations about playing in that legendary room. So many great DJs have played there, and many consider it the best club in the world. 
From the moment I started playing a few records, I found myself drawn to improvise to a more hypnotic, patient storytelling vibe rather than a straightforward approach. The amazing crowd made me feel like I could really take my time to build things up, so that’s exactly what I did—dark, hypnotic house & techno with groove.
