I wrote this piece in honor of my mom's birthday (March 31st) and dedicate it to all the wonderful band parents out there that help make musical dreams a reality. During her lifetime, she never missed a performance, and I am so thankful that she supported my music. I'm old and retired now, but the music still gives me breath every day.

This march was composed as a tribute to my mom Peggy who never missed a performance of mine in her lifetime. It's a fairly traditional march, but I've added a few surprises. Thanks to my mom and all those other band parents who support their children's love of music.

I’m a husband and dad. I’m a retired English teacher. I play clarinet. I have Parkinson’s which impacts everything but does not diminish my spirits.
