Many emotions, joy to torment, for those who have the ears to hear and the heart to listen.

So much inspiration from getting funky in the dirt with Underground Souls the weekend prior to playing this set, hearing DJ Heather kill it again and again and rekindling more of my Chicago soul, DJ Holographic pulling out so much Detroit delicious style, and so many more.

My weird is still strong but I'm going to be so much more Chicago for at least the next year from all the artistry that weekend.

This set has been lurking in my record box since I played it at Everyday Pizza at the end of April; it was so much fun to play it, I figured I should actually record it.  So much love to my fav pizza joint for inviting me back and taking such good care of their djs.  <3 <3

Vek Neirbo is the unruly alter-ego moniker of longtime U.S. based DJ and producer, Kev Obrien. 

Recently relocated in the Mile High City of Denver, Vek's musical focus is honed in on tripped-out, hypnotic minimal, tech house, and breakbeat -- best served after 4am, when the party is at its freakiest.
