Step into a warm, feel-good atmosphere with this vibrant house track, infused with sunny grooves and uplifting energy. The foundation of this tune was laid down by my talented friend Gimma, whose brilliant sense for rhythm and melody instantly set the right tone. From the very beginning, Gimma brought a clear vision and vibe that gave this track its distinctive soul.

As we developed the track together, layer by layer, it naturally evolved into a smooth yet energetic house journey—perfect for sunset sessions, open-air festivals, or simply catching that weekend feeling. With shimmering chords, a rolling bassline, and a groove that keeps you moving, this production reflects the shared creativity between us.

Huge shout-out to Gimma for bringing such a strong musical identity into this project. Without his spark and input, this track wouldn’t be what it is today. Hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Straight from the heart of Amsterdam’s vibrant club scene, PIV founder Prunk and RED 87 offer up a first-time collaboration with their ‘Express EP’, landing 23rd May. Featuring three original cuts and a remix from UK duo RUZE, the release captures the duo’s shared passion for soulful house grooves—delivered just in time for summer. 

Opening with the title track, ‘Express’ brings together lush synth pads, simmering hi-hats, and echoed vocal snippets, crafting a warm, hypnotic energy that reflects the pair’s signature sound. RUZE steps in to reimagine the original with a sun-soaked, transportive flair, adding vibrant textures and an irresistible late-night feel. On ‘Listen’, Prunk and RED 87 showcase their knack for stripped-back club music, layering rippling melodies and tight, luscious percussion built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Closing cut ‘Break It Down’ tips its hat to classic Hot Creations energy—funk-laced, percussive, and oozing with charm, it wraps up the EP with a high-octane flourish. 

"When I was a young Prunk, I had a Hot Creations record on my wall. I remember playing all kinds of tracks from the label over the last 15 years, and I still do. From Hot Natured and Jamie Jones to Burnski and Danny Daze. It's one of those labels that is on almost every producer's release bucket list. After a few amazing shows at Paradise Ibiza over the last summer, I am finally releasing on the label. Obviously, a dream come true, and I'm happy to do it with one of my really good friends RED 87.
