As a result, Seoul-based DJs and producers have formed crew collectives to make their musical identities stronger. 'Hazed & Confucius’ is one of these dedicated crews. Their aim is to allow hazy Lo-Fi, crunchy leftfield house and raw techno music to have a strong presence amidst Seoul’s many shades.

그런 결과로, 서울을 중심으로 활동하는 디제이들과 프로듀서들은 본인들의 색깔을 더 강하게 나타내고 활동하기 위해서 크루를 만들기 시작하였습니다. ‘Hazed & Confucius’는 그런 크루들중 하나로서, 그들의 목표는 몽환적이고 Lo-Fi한, 그리고 거친느낌의 레프트필드 하우스와 테크노를 서울의 신에 안정적으로 정착시키는데 있습니다.

In this compilation, Hazed & Confucius have curated 6 tracks from Seoul-based artists who are emblematic of their unique identity. DJ / Producers DJ Bowlcut, Adam Emil, Jazzy Rhythmer, Jae Young, Purvitae and Anchore all contribute and spent time a sizeable amount of studio time together to make this compilation a true document of how they see their future local house music scene develop.
