Just like with their debut track, I really enjoyed the vocals on "Stamp On It" but I wasn't a big fan of the instrumental itself, so I thought I could work on that and turn it into a completely different genre. This time I went with 80s-inspired synth pop, and I hope you'll like it!

I wanted to work on a fun and challenging project before 2023 is over, and mixing 11 K-pop songs into an EDM-influenced track definitely seemed like an interesting adventure indeed! This one is called "major version" because all the songs I used were in a major key with a common tempo of 128BPM, and it's such a catchy and fun track to listen to.

I selected songs that had a common tempo and, in most cases, the same key, so I wouldn't have to alter the vocals too much because I'm not a big fan of remixes where the vocals sound too different from the original song. Then I extracted all the vocal tracks at moises.ai, and I composed an EDM-influenced track that would make all the songs come together as one while choosing which lines and sections to use over my instrumental. That's how this track was created!

There's no way to make this song sound any better because I think it's such an amazing track, but I wanted to have some fun taking it to a whole different kind of mood through a slower beat, a cute chord progression, and some delicate sounds. Honestly it's "Super Lady" that I'd like to work on, but since the ending section felt a bit tricky to take it to a different music genre, I eventually thought it could be fun to remix "Wife" into this dance track that combines house influences and some Indian music elements. I was pretty close to giving up on this remix because going down a more EDM route just wasn't working the way I expected...
