White Owl Records is a vinyl and digital label headquartered in Brooklyn, USA, that specialises in live and machine-driven techno from the city's dynamic underground scene.

Piner is not only a Co-Founder of White Owl, who is returning with his second EP, but he is also one half of the Drim duet, who have released fascinating new music on the label. For this DT:Premiere we selected "Doors to Nowhere" that builds with agitated percussion and a sparse lead. Waves of spacey textures and a bubbling bassline add a sense of drama to this energetic slice of creative sound design.
