Vintage effects, phasers, tremolo, and odd effects to add a little spice to a mix. Lots of fun with experimenting with this mix - took a lot to get the drum sound right. Vocal was recorded through a very old and very vintage microphone from days yonder.

Fuel mixes elements of LP and Skillet yet comes up with its own unique sound and style. This is a song about verbal and emotional abuse and the ability to allow them to drive us to greater levels of success.

This was a song I wrote for Jesse Sprinkle (Poor Old Lu, Demon Hunter, Dead Poetic, Kutless). This was a departure from Jesse's normal acoustic pop/rock style and he took it in a Nine Inch Nails type direction.

Orchestra and classical piece recorded and mixed live on-the-fly. Trumpet was added at another studio in NY. This was a collaboration between our Philharmonia and composer Tim Shackleton who lives in Cobleskill, NY.
