Es ist unmöglich, stillzustehen, wenn ÜBERKIKZ an den Decks ist. Die junge Künstlerin ist eine in Russland geborene und in Frankfurt lebende DJ. Sie ist seit den Anfängen Teil des Labels @studioennea und Gründerin des feministischen Kunstkollektivs @junakarat.

Ihr Stil ist inspiriert vom Techno der frühen 2000er Jahre. Obwohl ihre Sets von Anfang bis Ende von unaufhaltsamen Groove durchzogen sind, fehlt es ihnen nicht an Scharfkantigkeit. Die Kicks sind hart und treibend. Trancige Melodien werden auf einzigartige Weise mit Folk- und Tribal-Elemente kombiniert. Jedes ihrer Sets ist eine emotionale Geschichte, die jeder versteht, wenn er sich treiben lässt.

We are happy to announce the start of our new Podcast series, starting with a fire set of our resident Alex Benz!

Alex Benz is a Hamburg-based DJ who has rapidly made a name for himself with his hardgroove closings in the local techno scene. Recently, his sound has developed in two directions. Firstly, a hypnotic, minimal and deeper sound with focus on storytelling keeping the dance floor engaged through building and keeping tension. Secondly, a more fast-paced, trancier and experimental Techno.

The EXIT Podcast 001 provides not only playful grooves, dark and mystical synth lines, but also very deep Tracks touching the listener emotionally.
