I usually don’t write about feelings or experiences, my music is not a vehicle for ideas and language; music is an art form that stands on its own. I put sounds there for the sake of sound, not what they mean. I’m perfectly fine with listeners feeling their own emotions or adding their narratives to my music, but that has never been my goal. Music and sound for me is a physical experience that you feel and enjoy. FIGURE BESIDE ME is the exception to the rule. After this EP I’ll go back to serving the dancefloor again - I just need to get this one out of me.

I've worked to fit several influences in here. I've gone for old-school harmony lead guitars over rhythm guitars in the style of Johnny Marr/ Radiohead.  I've used a more modern drum sound, nice deep bass and slightly spacey vocals.
