Get ready to turn up the volume and bust a move, because SNCD03 is about to drop! The record is the brainchild of Vancouver-based DJ and producer Garneau and SNC Records.
Garneau burst onto the scene with his debut EP "Old School" in 2018, and he's been slaying the game ever since. He's worked with some of the best in the business, including Paris Mitchell, DJ Deeon, and DJ Slugo, and now he's teaming up with SNC Records to deliver a record that's nothing short of mind- blowing. The idea for SNCD03 came about during Garneau's visit to the label in October ‘22, during a stay in Europe. The creative juices started flowing, and they quickly realized that the collaboration was a match made in musical heaven, and the result is a record that's memphis-inspired, and full of dynamic beats that'll keep you grooving all night long.

"We had an amazing time working with Garneau," said Valentin from SNC Records. "The EP is a true representation of the magic that can happen when creative minds come together, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world."

Introducing midlands based selector Goomba, we have a fresh mix incorporating minimal high ends and hypnotic dubby low ends - reaL soupy stuff. 

With a mix as clean as he keeps his studio, Goomba has been selecting digital and vinyl records for a number of years, often with a sound system infused mindset. For many, this would mean they’ve been to a big fat rave with a large rig, but for Goomba and his associates, it meant building one.

Goomba is also one of the head honchos of Bassfreight sound system, a rig that has personally blown the ears off LT HQ, capitulating the deep feel in the low end but with extremely well balanced mids and highs. The Bassfreight crew have started running their own events in Sheffield, and after successfully supplying Level Up Festival and Side Eye Sounds with VOLume, it certainly is a journey to follow.

Dju:n hails from Brest, a rave stronghold that has been hosting the legendary Astropolis for almost 30 years, considered the oldest electronic music festival in France.

As part of a young generation of DJs who continually blur the boundaries between styles, she quickly stood out for the density of her selections blending techno, electro, breakbeat, juke, trance, jungle… It’s difficult to label her as her sonic identity constantly evolves, much like a certain Miss Kittin, whom Dju:n cites among her main influences. However, one constant remains in her sets: a high BPM and a galvanizing energy that sweeps everything in its path.

Dju:n’s mix is a perfect introduction to this scene for those who haven’t already explored it. It showcases the exhilarating energy that defines her trademark, catalyzed by her effortless mixing and a skillful use of vocals for added groove. A hypnotic ride full of twists and turns, equally suitable for home or warehouse listening.
