This is a Bi-weekly pod cast of my current show entitled " Live & Improvised " this is not a DJ set. As the title says the music is performed live and is improvised. This means the music is made up on the spot. Each show is uniqe and what is heard will never be reproduced again. It is a personal Journey between me and the people present at my performance. The Pod Casts i post will be mostly from my shows on the road and will vary in time. sit back and enjoy the chemistry between creating and experiencing live electronic music.

After sprouting with a trip to the Amazon on the Full Flower Moon, the Future Sound Of Nature spreads more branches with, Soul Clap’s EcoSystems Mixtape on the Summer Solstice. The veteran DJs have a long history of conceptual mixes (DJ Kicks, fabric, RA, watergate) and have spent over a decade supporting climate action in the music industry. The extended mix brings nature in as a musical collaborator by collaging field recordings, sound habitats and nature songs (content, title or lyrics). Spread over four musical habitats, each intertwined by field recordings and original ambient interludes, EcoSystemS is a unique take on nature music–weaving together a diverse range of electronic genres, for the body, mind and spirit–to align the nervous system as only nature can.

Fueled by the fire of the sun, the first habitat brings house music energy into the Ecosystem, fueling photosynthesis and building up plant tissue. Then, as a quiet storm descends, the second habitat (23:10) is bathed in the depth of the water cycle. This habitat is home to animals like birds and insects that play an important role in the movement of matter and energy through the system, feeding on plants and on one another. Breaking down dead organic matter, the third habitat (41:16) decomposes into a mystical musical moment of rebirth. While the final habitat  (1:13:41) journeys through the jungle to complete the cycle, releasing carbon back to the atmosphere and facilitating nutrient cycling by converting nutrients stored in dead biomass back to a form that can be readily used by plants and microbes.

For REC009 we are excited to have a new face join the Reconsider family - Ayan. All the way from India the multi-talented artists has been making waves in the scene with prior releases on Applied Magic, Marginalia, Urge To Dance and many more. His captivating productions have shaken dance floors from Mexico to Berlin and he has already shared the line-up with international heavyweights such as Dixon and many more.

REC009 is a collaboration with the Felix E and Michael Ritter, who as the founders of the imprint Reconsider need little introduction. The main track 'Plane of Pleasure' is an energetic house track that dominates with classic, yet time-less chord stabs and a solid groove in its foundation.

The second track, 'Dream Scheme', impresses with its sound design and dominant baseline. With its harsh, metallic stabs on one side and vocals on the other it creates strong contrasting soundscapes - a unique listening experience.

'Everything We Started' rounds of the EP on deeper, groovy note - balancing woobly bass sounds with stabby synth sounds on top. All around, the EP perfectly blends classical house elements with sound design of the new era - so make sure not to miss this one.

(apc 40, mpk 49, audio interface and laptop). the idea is to start from scratch and create the music on the spot, feeding off the crowd. Every show completely different.
