In 2000, Kevin D. Hoover sought to challenge himself outside of his comfort zone of working as personal assistant to Frankie Knuckles, a position he held for seven amazing years.  Jermane Britton (a dear friend and fellow Chicago native whom had also relocated to New York), offered a full partnership in his upstart, Kid Dynamite Records, which they launched Fall 2000. Since it's inception, Kevin has supervised over a dozen releases for the record label, guided the label from traditional retail distribution into the electronic age of digital distribution and online marketing and brokered several lucrative licensing deals with domestic, European and Asian record companies.  

The original company has since, splintered into two brands; the Los Angeles based Kid Dynamite Management headed by Britton and New York based Kid Dynamite Media (KDM, Inc.) headed by Hoover. Now re-branded as the multimedia firm with a concentration in audio and visual, specifically photography and design, Kevin has taken his brand beyond the boundaries of being merely a record label.  Though separated by miles, the two remain connected as a team with the same shared vision.

Kevin has worked diligently to hone his own skills as a composer and producer.  This has lead to remix and production work for singers, rappers and Reggaeton artists, a licensing deal with TWI, the television division for IMG World, to provide music for their numerous television shows,  creating compositions for top New York ad agencies, producing original music scores for short and feature films and releasing his own projects, "Kevin D. Hoover as Nino Cacera in Night of the Living Dubs" in 2008 and "Kevin D. Hoover is Nino Cacera in Dawn of the Dubs" coming in Winter/Spring 2013.

Kevin D. Hoover is a proud member or ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Publishers) and NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences).
