Celebrating 1 year of live streaming sessions since the pandemic, the Santa Cruz DJ Sessions crew threw an epic three-day affair that I had the pleasure of playing at. This set has been in development for a long time. Originally arranged for 2024 campout season, it was shelved for nearly a year. More tracks were acquired and integrated in 2025, abd a bunch that were originally in didn't make the final cut. I've been taking some time off from DJing while learning to play guitar and pursue other creative outlets, but I felt the inspiration to dust off the decks and finally get this set finished. Friends 'n' Family is so hard to describe. It's a party but it's also a community. It's light and also sound. It's art and also science. It's whimsy and also deep connection. And for all those reasons, it's just a huge honour to be selected to play.
