YxYY (or Yes by Yes Yes) is a gathering of geeks, nerds, weirdos, creatives, futurists, thinkers, and yay-sayers held at the ACE Hotel in Palm Springs.

Although we couldn't attend this year, I wanted us to be present in some form and contribute to the community. Nightmares On Wax Boiler Room London DJ Set

Moody and emotional, this set is a result of an impromptu tag-teaming session at BRA Camp on Friday @ Burning Man 2013 (Cargo Cult), after a difficult group trip to the Temple full of cleansing, mourning, release, and hope.

First, LeftCtrl set off the mood with his signature deep sound, and mixes for the first thirty minutes, then Kem and LeftCtrl bounce around for the next fourty five or so minutes, until finally  Stickybeats finishes off with a smooth ride.

This is the opening set for an annual party we host. Played amidst answering doorbells, ordering food delivery, starting a video conference, and even a brief cut in music to announce said food. A groovy start to welcome everyone to our home.

Dusty Pickle: Teasing You All The Way Home

I had the pleasure of playing to the always beautiful sunsets on Koh Lanta, an island in Thailand at the Pangea Beach Bar. This was a great opportunity to put together a set of a lot of the chiller tracks I've been collecting over the last year or so.

This 2h30m set is a journey with the sun, starting off chill and, after the sun sets and the lights come on, a little bit more of a dance vibe with many throwbacks.

Thanks to Alex and @pangea-beach-bar-ko-lanta for having me play. If you're in Koh Lanta, check them ot for sunsets and for their Tuesday night parties where they bring in DJs from all over the world for a night of tech house and dancing.
