"I'm Not Crazy" is loosely based on the hit Netflix TV show "Heartstopper", specifically aiming to portray Charlie's point of view. The song is bright and upbeat, and uses a pulsing baseline and synths to tell the story of a boy crushing on a boy, without knowing if they share the same sexuality. The song stays lighthearted until the end, where you get a bigger dive into what your mind goes through when you're constantly falling for straight men.

"Proud" tells the story of a much-too-dramatic young Kevin Walkman, swooming over someone that was barely interested. Walkman creates this outside vision that everything is fine with him mentally as he hangs out with mutual friends of the person that shot him down, while on the inside he struggles to understand it all.
