Silk Music is thrilled to present Silk Remixed 06, the sixth installment of the annual series. Inspired new trance, progressive house, deep house, & chillstep productions, courtesy of Sam Davies, Talamanca, Jayeson Andel, Adam Sobiech, LTN, Andrew Benson, and Stendahl, are featured this year. 

Polish artist Adam Sobiech makes his Silk Music debut via a new remix of SNR's "Limbo." Taking cues from SNR's ebullient original version, Sobiech's rendering is club-flavored (and truly thrilling) from start to finish. Many of the original motifs appear in the first half of the arrangement; Sobiech's personal stamp takes the form of an exhilarating modern trance lead, which ultimately reaches a climax in the main breakdown and subsequent drop.

Dutch label veteran Talamanca is back with a brand new EP, "Meditation," featuring two lush, deep-progressive house cuts. Jacob Henry and Tom Fall featured both tracks on their recent Silk Music Showcase 06 compilation.

"Meditation" takes off with strong percussion layers and other-worldly pads. Underneath, the bassline variations combined with subtle synth effects provide remarkable texture. As the song progresses, numerous captivating synth elements build atop the already mesmerizing soundscape.

In "The Underground," prominent bassline notes quickly emerge, which, together with intriguing percussion stems, establish a strong groove. Later, a light theme lead appears, which goes remarkably well with the spellbinding bassline notes and background arpeggio layers.
