This is my birthday gift to one of my biggest DJ heroes and big brother in music, Brooklyn's own DJ Clark Kent!  The tracks featured in this 2-hour-plus mix span close to 4 decades and highlight many of Clark's revered contributions to Hip Hop and R&B, as well as obscure remixes and productions from well-known artists and one-hit wonders. From the vintage 80s to the head nod 90s and what many people have dubbed the "jiggy era" of the 2000s, there aren't many DJs and producers who can say they've done it all for that long and continued to stay relevant throughout their careers. Let's not even talk about his brand ambassadorship and sneaker expertise, that's a whole other monster! (IYKYK) It's time to give this pioneer his flowers and recognize greatness! April 1, 2020 is my 5th year Anniversary Performing Live! To kick things off I’ve decided to record, mix and master a cover of the Incomparable, “George Benson’s,” “Turn Your Love Around.” For al the people who are undecided about @TheRealShakar, “Turn Your Love Around.”

 "Turn Your Love Around" is a pop/R&B single by George Benson. The song was written by Grammy winners Bill Champlin of Chicago, Steve Lukather of Toto and producer and guitarist Jay Graydon to help fill out Benson's 1981 greatest hits album, The George Benson Collection.
