I haven't posted new music since a while now, although I never stopped composing. I guess this track is the most personal thing I could share with you.
It's about a woman who means a lot to me. She always encouraged me in my darkest hours. Even if I was close to deleting all of my recordings and burning all of the albums I made. She took me to Bonn to study filmmusic-composition this year and was proud of me doing what I do. She plays the violin in this song and was sitting next to me most of the time I was composing it for her and with her.

On December the 8th 2014 she passed away. I am trying to accept it and that's why I am sharing her beauty with you. May her playing move you the way it moves me and may she never be forgotten.

Angelina

The squirrel survives the winter not because it remembers every hiding spot, but because it gathered so much that even forgetting most of its stash leaves it with enough to get by. From this, we can learn a valuable lesson about generosity. The key is to give so much love, kindness, and compassion that even if much of it is forgotten or lost, there is still an abundance left. The nuts the squirrel forgets are not truly lost; they become new trees, enriching the world for all. In the same way, our small acts of kindness can grow and flourish in ways we may never see, yet they make the world a more beautiful and hospitable place.

This idea also has a profound spiritual depth. 

The squirrel doesn't know where each nut is, and similarly, we don't have to know the exact outcome of our actions. The pure, joyful act of giving is what truly matters. We don’t need to know if our smile will make someone's day or if a small act of charity will change a life. It is enough to make the gesture. This is a form of spirituality that isn't tied to any dogma, but to the simple, raw power of love and giving.
