        We started as a violin tutorial service handled by Ms. Liza Coroneza back in 2008. As Ms. Liza started blogging about what she has learned on her violin lesson, a number of people gain interest in her teaching skills. Because of blogging, she was able to get her first students for her group violin class. During this time, the class doesn't have a name yet. It continued as she markets herself through Multiply. The number of students grew and soon a recital was held.

	April 15, 2010: KeyStrings was officially named and launched during this recital. Mostly, adult beginners joined the recital. Ms. Liza then realized that your dream of playing the violin can be materialized regardless of your age, as long as you have the determination and discipline to accomplish the tasks and goals given. 

	The school grew and eventually produced more student recitals and even a fund-raising concert was held at the Philam Life Auditorium. Also, in 2012, KeyStrings was able to get a new place in order to accommodate more students and cater more services.

This year (2013), KeyStrings is working on a project to help less fortunate individuals accomplish their musical goals through KeyStrings’ scholarship program.

We aim that these scholars will not just learn music, but will learn the values behind the music they are making. 

 KeyStrings will continue its endeavor to LEARN, PLAY, and CREATE music in any walks of life.

	Aside from teaching music, KeyStrings is also known as one of the most promising string ensemble in Metro Manila. The members have been performing since 2002 as a musician and choir members in various groups. Most of them came from different music conservatories in Metro Manila (PWU, UST, UP), but some of them are self-taught but has exceptional talent and was mentored by music professors.

	They started performing as KeyStrings in 2004, with Mr. Jm Besana on keyboards and Ms. Liza Coroneza on the violin. They were just playing as a music ministry volunteer at Victory Christian Fellowship (U-Belt, Malate, Ortigas and Pioneer) and eventually after their talents being recognized, they were able to perform outside the church.

	Here are the key performances (with other artists) that KeyStrings have had:
1.	Acel Bisa-Van Ommen’s Album Launching (Silver Lining) – Jm, keyboard & Liza, violin; Jm is also the regular keyboardist of Acel from 2006 to 2008
2.	Lovi Poe’s first major concert at The Music Museum – Jm, first keyboard & Liza, violin
3.	QUEST at Malasimbo Music Festival 2013 at Puerto Galera – Jm, keyboard & The KeyStrings Quartet; Jm is currently Quest’s regular keyboardist (2011-present)
4.	TV5’s Good Morning Club February 14, 2013 Show – KeyStrings Quartet played during this live show
5.	Quest’s Live guesting at Myx Soundcheck, April 2013 – KeyStrings Quartet & Portable Sound
6.	Cream Silk’s Human Hair Quartet, April 2013 – KeyStrings All-Female Quartet
7.	Weddings, Debuts, Birthdays and Corporate events – 2004 to present

        

	KeyStrings has a distinct sound because the songs were personally arranged by the musicians. Their usual repertoire is from Classical, Jazz, Pop, Ballad, Acoustic Rock and Standard music. They have a wide variety of songs to choose from and they can be as versatile as any group. 

	What makes KeyStrings different from other groups is that they are composed of very young musicians. Some of them are still studying in the conservatory, but even if the other musicians have already passed the college level, they still have younger looks beyond their age. While their sound, also compliments how well they look during events.

	As a performer, they also have the same vision as the music school; Learn, Play and Create music in all events we have and we will be handling.
