You're supposed to wear a smile even when you're beaten! 2009 was my first introduction to music at Dillard High School, but after graduating in 2011 I chose to pursue a degree in Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. During my studies I crossed over into the Mighty Brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., but not too long after I had to drop out to care for my family and new born son (My Pride and Joy). The stress of being a husband, father and still wanting to be a scholar were pretty excruciating. Fast forward to 2017, I joined the military in hopes that I can provide for my family and find us stability. Instead, I found myself after all my accomplishments being dismissed for a DUI. From finances to emotional depreciation these things took a heavy toll on my relationship and I turned back to music for some relief, hope, even faith that I had another chance to show my family I can be that man for them. I had talent, but I wasn't progressing fast enough and honestly I wasn't the best with money, so I jumped at opportunities that were scams and that ultimately drove the only people I loved with all my heart out my life. Hurt, beaten and broken I was looking for a replacement in all the wrong places. Left with scars and bruises, I was tired of living in my storage unit in GA, so I scraped up all the coins I could find Greyhound home where I would end it all on Christmas Day. I felt like a failure and there was nothing I could do right, not to mention the PTSD I lived with that was overlooked constantly. I was Baker Acted in 2019 where I found revelation and a reason to keep going. No matter what I encounter in my life I overcome. Here I find myself in 2021 healthy and providing, so I give all honor to God for the people he placed in my life, the new love he has given me and the confidence to show the world who KID FROM THE DALE is!
