This is part of the BSOD (2010) EP. Because our track names were traditionally unpronounceable, we had nicknames for most tracks. This track was nicknamed "Dave," after some former ass of a step-father I had growing up. The song theme is rather accusative and judgmental, describing the kinds of people who have a lot of money and social status but absolutely no sense of dignity, who treat everyone around them like garbage, which makes them worthless in my view. The lyrics make multiple jabs at these asshats, but the bridge in particular recalls a vivid memory I have of Aaron being screamed at by my step-father for sneezing in his fruit salad. Fucking hilarious!

This track was made for Leeni's remix album "8 Bit Heart Re-Start" (2009). Well actually, instead of remixing the original, we just completely rewrote it and recorded our own vocals. The idea was to make it as different as possible, since the original Leeni song is more of a slow, acoustic ballad. As an extra bonus, I even tweaked this version a bit! I have no idea if it's better, oh well...
