A bit of 60s/70s inspired Gothic Horror. Imagine Mary Shelley and the gang, stoned out of their skulls, alternately telling and writing horror stories in a dark, haunted house by Lake Geneva. It is, of course, a dark and stormy night and there are strange things afoot. The Daffodils won't leave them alone, and there is something in the woodshed. Ken Russell is directing them.

All made with Arturia VST's, mainly the B3, Vocoder, Mellotron, CMI, Clavinet, Mini and Pigments. Mastered with Ozone, but pushed to the limit to give some extra retro.

You have drunk a few beers in Space California, you're under water, and there is an angel fish playing some alien synth-guitar hybrid. You think the fish is drunk.

It's sunny and the water is clear. There is sand and there are colourful parasols on the beach.  The world spins and you find yourself back under water. Somehow, you are still managing to drink a cocktail... it has an umbrella in it. Ford is turning into a Penguin.

Virtual instruments are Pigments and Juno-6. The bass is a Moog Subsequent 37 in real space.

Pond life 1985

Think an insane John Lord reincarnated as a 12th Century mathematician playing the outro for a John Carpenter movie. I toned down Lord Fibonacci's insanity... a bit.

The drums are slightly timed to the Fibonacci sequence. Slightly. Now isn't that proggy? ;)

Mats says 'This is very different. It is your most commercial track yet'. Mats is Swedish. I'm unsure as to whether he meant this as a compliment...

Mainly Arturia Analog Lab VST's plus Pigments and a few Ableton stock instruments. Mysteriously mastered with Ozone.

I was listenning to a lot of Primal Scream for a while, and this sort of came out of that. Been chewing on it for a while, wondering whether to make it longer or do something more fancy with the Hammond. But not.

Despite the image this is all VST's - Arturia mainly, the B-3 and SEM mainly, with Pigments on the lead. Drums are stock Ableton (Disco Arcade and Landlourdes kits)

I Am Me [WIP]

A humourous post apocalyptic journey in which aliens have taken over LA and are using highly developed machines to rule. The first half represents driving through the former city surveying in horror the burnt out wreckage. Alien bacterial spawn is also bubbling beneath the concrete.
A spaceship appears and hovers slowly to the ground stirring up the scenery.
An alarm is raised as the humans climb aboard. We soar upwards accompanied by a friendly robot. We view from the craft the war zone below as we speed off to our new planet.

Tomorrow's World (The Future We Imagined)

I create seamless fusions of just about everything. All visceral, atmospheric and psychedelic with hidden depths upon closer inspection. The flow is also important. It exists on a continuum with micro-variations and subtle evolutions along the way.
The music can range from low down heavy darkness to softer and more positive, higher-vibrational new age. Yet even at it’s most crushing and industrial never succumbing to nihilism and instead feeling warm and inviting.
Very often humorous (in the form of deliberate cinematic pastiches), freaky and surreal. Inspired by dystopian sci-fi. Retro-futuristic.
I often wear my influences on my sleeve like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream but at my core I’m still self-referential with my sound. It operates at my own personal frequency.
