Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; YAHWEH hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. [5] And now, saith ELOHIM that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of YAHWEH , and my God shall be my strength. [15] Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. [23] And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am JAH : for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. [25] But thus saith YAHWEH , Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. [26] And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I YHWH ELOHIM am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Since 2010 Aurora Innovations and Roots Organic sponsored many music
mixtape but with ‘Food For Though’ it’s for the first time they collaborate on
the productions of original tracks with the California-based label Sugar Cane
Records.

All the songs are originally produced for this project and they talk about
cultivation and healthy lifestyle, like the title track ‘Food For Though’ from Jah
Sun and I- Kronik.

The Californian singer and owner of Sugar Cane Label Jah Sun, gives his
contribution with the songs ’Farmer’s Anthem’ and ‘Pro Seed’.

From the Sugar Cane we find also Raphael from Italy with ‘Joka Farm Boy’, a
song against pesticides in agricultural products in favor of biodynamic and
organic cultivation with the Jamaican veteran artist Triston Palma, David
Lion from Italy with ‘Organic Herb’ and Bobby Hustle from Seattle with ‘Up In
the Hills’.

The compilation ‘Food For Thought’ features also jamaican artists that live in
the West Coast as Messenjah Selah (‘Conscious Way’) and Stevie Culture
with Jah Works (‘Can’t live Without’).

Then we find Ras Attitude from Virgin Island with ‘Healing Herb’, the veteran
sensation from Brooklyn Rocker T with ‘Roots Organic’ and Don Sugar with
the original dub version ‘Dub For Though’.

All the songs are produced by Don Sugar and mixed by Daddario Casillo.
