Big Sur might be the most mythical place I have ever been to. You are standing on top of massive cliffs falling into the middle of the ocean. You see an infinite body of water in front of you, and neck wrecking trees behind you. You hear the sound of massive waves crashing into rocks, like a bomb exploding behind your ears. And you hear the birds singing the song of life during sunset. You witness the infinite power of nature, with an unescapable feeling of reverence, and humility. You remember the insignificance of your existence, which is at the same time freeing and scary. You are inspired by the richness of life, including yours, and it's simplicity. 

It's always been my dream to play in such a mythical place. And I had the chance to finally do it in the presence of my loving and wonderful community. For the first time, I have let the place and the moment take full control of my music. I didn't plan my set, and I tried to channel the moment. The Big Sur landscape is not compromising. It's always big, energetic and moody. It can be dreamlike in a moment and threatening the next. This set goes through a similar journey, swinging between opposites, but with high and imposing energy. I hope you enjoy the ride.

We were sitting in one of the most iconic and mesmerizing views in the world where the beauty of nature meets the perseverance of human creation: The Bay of San Francisco, looking at the pacific and the 2 miles long Golden Gate Bridge. It was one of those San Francisco tough love days, started with a foggy and chilly afternoon and evolved into a warm night. 

Saint Nicolaus and I channeled that energy and took the crowd through a journey that started during the day and culminated at night. We felt magic happen during the set. There was a synergy between the significance of the place, the fully alive and changing weather, the newly-returned-from-burning-man crowd, and the both of us. We were all playing with each other, sending curve balls, winks and turns. We co-created together a moment of oneness.

Our transitions were rough at times but we chose to release the set unedited, choosing to convey the full synergy of the moment.

Khloul & Saint Nicolaus - Golden Gate Bridge Sunset

I was in my apartment in a beautiful San Francisco indian summer afternoon, and I was a feeling something slow yet groovy, the kind of music you can play in the background while hanging out with friends in a casual sunny afternoon.

So I made this set. It's viby without being overtaking, groovy without being too fast. It slowly builds without ever overtaking the atmosphere.

Khloul - Indian Summer

We gathered our friends and SF community for one last time in 2024 before everyone heads off to the sunset.

My friend Eli & I decided to play together for an hour. What came out of it is a viby & upbeat set that progresses from OG House to melodic tribal music. 

We enjoyed playing off of each other, as well as seeing all the smiley and dancing faces of our friends throughout the set progression. Hope you can feel those smiles.

The set begins in shadows: slow, dark, grounding. Then it rises toward light: faster, freer, sexier. From the dust into the dawn, this is the emotional journey I was on. I hope you feel it too.

This set was meant to sit as a secondary character to let new connections deepen and get created in real life. I hope you can relax in the chill vibes and feel the sunny energy and freshness of connections, without ever being overtaken by the sound.

I’ve been meaning to create a set that feels calm and soothing — the kind you put on at night, in bed, right before drifting off. Music that eases your mind, lifts you from the ground, floats you through the clouds, and carries you gently into sleep. One morning I woke up ready to play it. I didn’t plan the tracklist — I just pressed play on the first song and let each track lead me to the next. This set is the result. I hope it brings you the same sense of peace and surrender that it was meant to convey.

It was midnight, I was in a dark room, surrounded only by candlelight. The scent of palo santo fills the air, warm and grounding, bringing me peace. The space feels intimate, cozy — a sanctuary. From that place, I felt inspired to play a set that captures the mood of the moment: sensual, slow, and deeply sexy. Hope you feel through the music the same calm and serenity I was feeling at that moment

In these times of COVID-19, I got inspired to share some positive vibes. Nothing can take away our smiles, laughs and happiness. They are the strongest remedy.

Saxophone is an instrument that transmits excitement, energy and pure happiness, and reminds me of sun, summer, beaches and freedom. There is a lot of it in this set, hope you enjoy. 

As long as we breathe, we will be free, because freedom is in our minds and not in our confinement.
