with every wrinkle on your face, each represent the beauty
in your heart, with your prolific kindness treated as your duty 
always in a hurry
to heal my wounds that i can remedy
myself,
but there you are beside me getting ready
been regretting
that you never got to see me  be a man
but you used to say that things will happen as intended
by god or fate, 
whatever reason,
i guess ive never truly listened
just had to be there
to live the moment
and every second that is tickin' with the silence 
of the walls surrounding me,
my murmurs only echo conversations, reminiscing
about a time that i've been often missing
about a time that
that's long been resting
but now
my feet has never been acquainted to a single ground
afraid of comfort, 
no patterns when i move around
my eyes are cavernous cause days and nights are all the same
and i would love to take it back to when you tell me "slow it down"
so i've kept it somewhere
the memories i consider gifts
i cannot recreate the light that emanates from in you
the things i tell myself they sound so meaningless
so much is different when you left
but then you told me
"Let the sun set."
