Today is a special day for me - the release of my debut track!!!!! 
I told y'all I would have something soon, well here it is! 
It's a chilled, but groovy deep house number called "Free Your Body" Would love to hear this played on the dance floor along with some of my other tracks I am working on.

Friday Night (original mix)

I grew up listening to my dads old school funk and soul records. My parents liked to have  parties and my dad would get me to choose what records to put on - pretty good when I was only 10 years old! Ive been collecting music for about 20 years now, and worked for 15 years as a music journalist and graphic designer for The Courier Mail newspaper in Brisbane. In that time I have been to my share of music festivals and interviewed and written about a lot of famous people in music.
With all the music I was being sent for my job, my music collection grew very quickly. I have since collected a lot of different types and it was a natural progression for me to become a DJ. 
Old school funk and soul, blues, modern soul and r'n'b and old motown and stax records. Old rock records, jazz, hip hop, big beat, breaks, drum'n'bass, house!! techno, trance. I found it very cool and interesting to explore other styles and I want to be able to draw from that when I produce my own music. 
Like all DJs too I want to be able to play great tunes to people who are open minded and like having a good time! 

Its great to be sharing the music I like with the rest of the world and  listening to all the great artists and DJs out there - love you work yo! It inspires me to keep trying to get better.
