The Bible tells us that in the beginning the Earth was without form, it was void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But the Spirit of God hovered, God spoke a Word, and there was light. The Bible also tells us that Jesus could not start His ministry without the Spirit of God coming upon Him. As a believer, we have the same Spirit within us, to reveal to us the deep things of God. Fasting is a necessary aspect in having dominion. Even Jesus himself fasted. Fasting is a mystery, mysteries cannot be searched, they must be revealed. Fasting helps us to be in tune spiritually for our destiny and gives an advantage for the future. By fasting we are able to bring forth the power of God in our lives.

In times of fasting, you must stand firm. The reference point to your testimony is in your standing firm. Fasting can change your story.  Fast with an assignment and stand firm.  Fasting comes with physical things to do in order to see spiritual results. Fasting is not fasting only from food but from your normal way of living.  Fasting is disconnecting from the world and prayer is connecting back to God,

The mystery of Christianity is not necessarily in its teachings but the mystery of Christ; God captured in humanity. You have to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. To be a beneficiary of what God is doing, we must be in the spirit. This requires a great amount of discipline. We cannot do this when living and operating in the flesh, meaning we are outside of Gods will and desire. As born again Christians we cannot live in the flesh, but we must be in the spirit to discern spiritual things. We must focus our minds on the things that please God. and have a relationship with him.
