Fasting is an aspect of sacrifice. When fasting, you put yourself in a state of discomfort with one main purpose; to seek the face of God and call upon the name of the Lord. When you engage in God’s chosen fast, it brings to bear the hand of God in a very colourful way.

However, to obtain this good report, we must prepare accordingly, and exercise a large amount of faith efforts and steps. We can only do this by feeding our faith. Faith remains a wish until it involves our works; it must show in every aspect of our lives as Christians. We as Christians must have a faith that heaven can testify of.

Sometimes when going through hard times, it may seem easy to conclude that God won’t turn that situation around for you. This is a lie the enemy will try to feed you, because the reality is that God is able and willing to help you no matter how worrying that trial or tribulation is presenting itself to be. God is able to change your story. It is not impossible for God to glorify His name on your life. You must learn not to fear, because God is faithful.
