IN A FORGOTTEN CORNER OF THE COSMOS, THERE LIES A DESOLATE PLANET, NAMELESS AND FACELESS, WHERE AN UNFORTUNATE ASTRONAUT FOUND HIMSELF STRANDED. THIS PLANET BORE A CHILLING RESEMBLANCE TO EARTH, BUT IT WAS COLDER, SHROUDED IN AN ATMOSPHERE VIOLENTLY UNPREDICTABLE. STRANGE, UNSETTLING SOUNDS ECHOED THROUGH ITS ALIEN JUNGLES, FOREIGN TO ANYTHING THE ASTRONAUT HAD EVER ENCOUNTERED.

AS THE ASTRONAUT VENTURED DEEPER INTO THE JUNGLE, A HORRIFYING SIGHT GREETED HIM AT EVERY TURN. PATCHES OF BLOOD ADORNED THE LANDSCAPE, AND THE REMAINS OF SKINNED HUMANS, EERILY FAMILIAR TO BEINGS FROM EARTH, WERE SCATTERED, THEIR DISAPPEARANCE SHROUDED IN MYSTERY. THE RELENTLESS DARKNESS WEIGHED ON THE ASTRONAUT'S SPIRIT, PUSHING HIM TO THE BRINK OF DESPAIR.

EXHAUSTED AND DEFEATED, THE ASTRONAUT DROPPED TO HIS KNEES, HIS GAZE FIXED UPON THE POOLS OF BLOOD BENEATH HIM. IN THIS MOMENT OF HOPELESSNESS, AN UNEXPLAINABLE HIGH-PITCHED NOISE PIERCED THE EERIE SILENCE. STARTLED, HE TURNED AROUND TO BEHOLD A NIGHTMARISH FIGURE—AN ETHEREAL, GHOSTLY SHADOW WITH A TWISTED SMILE AND A TILTED HEAD. IT APPEARED AS IF THE DARKNESS ITSELF HAD TAKEN ON A LIFE OF ITS OWN.

FILLED WITH TERROR, THE ASTRONAUT ATTEMPTED TO FLEE, BUT HIS ESCAPE WAS CUT SHORT. A MALEVOLENT BLACK OBJECT SURGED FROM THE GROUND, IMPALING HIM INSTANTLY. HIS BODY HUNG THERE, BLEEDING AND IN PAIN FOR HOURS UNTIL HIS LIFE FORCE DWINDLED AWAY.

THIS SHADOW-LIKE GHOST FIGURE, THE SOLE ANOMALY OF THE FORSAKEN PLANET, WAS A MALEVOLENT FORCE, INFAMOUS FOR THE TORMENT IT INFLICTED UPON ANYTHING THAT DARED TO TRESPASS. THE MERE PRESENCE OF THIS ENTITY UNLEASHED UNIMAGINABLE SUFFERING, AS IF EVERY MOLECULE IN ONE'S BODY WAS BEING CRUSHED UNDER IMMENSE PRESSURE. IT REVELED IN THE AGONY IT CAUSED, SEEMINGLY DERIVING PLEASURE FROM THE PAIN OF OTHERS.

WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THIS DREADFUL WORLD, THE HAUNTING MELODIES OF UNHEARD MUSIC RESONATED THROUGH THE AIR. THESE DREADFUL TUNES WERE SAID TO SYMBOLIZE THE IMMENSE SUFFERING EACH VICTIM ENDURED AT THE HANDS OF THE SHADOW ANOMALY. EACH NOTE PLAYED A HAUNTING SYMPHONY OF TORMENT, A TESTAMENT TO THE HORRORS LURKING ON THIS PLANET, FAR AWAY FROM THE REACH OF ANY OTHER CELESTIAL BODY.
