The EP reaches its pinnacle as Nayoo, the producer behind the FiG, takes El Sham percussion to new grand stages, keeping the heartbeat of his homeland Hishek Beshek alive of course. The darbuka, a percussive biller of the region, is not just an instrument here in this EP: it’s more like a storyteller over the music.
