As a Danish original, Resonant Pole has already more than proven his position at the very forefront of this Northern wave which has been flooding record shops and dancefloors around the globe. The musician who, despite his young age, already has wandered through various styles and genres of music, from Black Metal to Trance to Drum ‘n Bass, isn’t known for a delicate take on his craft. As a worthy emissary to the Scandinavian sound, he brings his vision of hard and unrelenting Techno straight up to his audience, both as a producer on quality imprints, and as a DJ, infusing his sound directly to the dancefloor. Hammering kicks and resounding percussions build the frames of his sonic palette which represents the current state of Northern-fused electronic music more than most others.

Produced in a small room on the southern coast of Ireland. Having just moved out of East London after 11 years and Brexit looming in an attempt to move back to Brooklyn, NYC. The pandemic making an extended layover in Ireland much more sympathetic to the circumstances. The stress of upheaval, major transition, bureaucratic complications, an incalculably important US election and an international pandemic emergency are all on the go. An Occupant in the Fucking Shit Show. All too real here, hence the attempt to escape it in veils of turning movements of sound and ideas. Swimming in the Irish Sea in mid-November, 2020. The stinging, boiling sensation of the cold sea water on the skin and ﬂoating there, breathing, and the light of the changing sky. Illuminating corners of the mind and visiting an ancestry as a mixed race Native American and how that resonates with other parts of the generations of old European American blood. Riddled with conﬂict and moments of clarity, this is not just my state, but the emerging state of realisations felt in people all over the place. We don’t want things to return to how there were before 2020. What’s the point? We ﬁnd ourselves having to adapt to the new set of life’s requirements. We need to let go and make a new way, again.
