AFT’s mad scientist is back with the third chapter of his Compound series. Volume 2 gave us the anthem ‘Stand Up’ which is still being banged in every single Danny Byrd set and volume 3 has 4 thunderous tracks with the same instant reload appeal. Certified dancefloor crushers.

‘We want it’ kicks off the Trilogy in infectious and catchy swinging style, unapologisingly jump up, unapologetically destructive. Sewer Rats are disgusting disease ridden creatures that live in the darkness of the underground and only come out at night; a perfect analogy for this grimey thumper.

‘You Want Some?’ Yes Khemikal, yes we do. Biological warfare encased in under 5 minutes of audio. Finally ‘Push It’ rounds of the Compound with a collaboration with up and coming Midlands producers Jamah & Carl-Lee which hits the spot with a genetic mutation of elements and almost muppet like ‘Push It’ vocal that sticks in your head. Banger.

Khemikal hailing from West Midlands has been a key player for the Family Tree consistently delivering strong projects alongside thunderous DJ sets which has seen him debut at a long list of festivals this summer including the mighty Glastonbury. Firmly back in the lab for Winter seasons, 2020 is set to be his best year yet.

Drumagick Presents: Bass Lovers (Saturday Night Live) 05 Dec 2020

2020 is not done for AFT Records as they bring us their 10th release on what has been possibly the weirdest year ever on planet Earth, but hey at least the music has been good! Making his debut for the label, Bristol based producer Loma launches his Family Tree catalogue in style with the thunderous ‘Elements’ E.P

The title track kicks things off showcasing Loma’s unique style of production, intricate drums, gliding bass and eerie strings set the scene with all the 'Elements' syncing together in a powerful stepper.

'Monster' revs up the gear with a cameo from AFT label mate MC Texas fresh from releasing his debut E.P ‘Dedicated’. A haunting stepper with some great, original sounds and cutting vocals from Tex. ‘Release the Monster!’

Closing the show ‘Out of Nowhere’ marinates gorgeous textures and pads with exquisite drums and builds atmosphere akin to a Ridley Scott movie. This element is deep and deserves maximum volume.
