This is sorta my musical interpretation of what a 3-phase bossfight with a Glyphid Hivequeen could be like. It's by far the most time-consuming and work-heavy project I've done as of now and holy cow why I chose to do that on my second ever time writing electronic music is beyond me.

Left Behind

No video for this one, this is the first ever song I composed using FLStudio!
It's quite old and frankly pretty damn bad, but I still think it worthwhile to share as it's part of who I am. Listening to this to me is like looking back at and only drawing you made as a kid and seeing how much you've grown since then.
Regardless of how it holds up, I'll always look at it fondly.

The usual synth I use for sound design and leads broke, but I was still inspired as hell. This is what came out of it. I learned a lot about synths and synth design during writing this, and even though I know I've barely scratched the surface, I'm still very proud of it. <3

Twins Rampage

The shadows move, the walls are slimy, the very air seems to close in around you. You've fought through miles and miles of bugs, venturing deeper into what you thought was the Hive. Now, tired and broken, half-dead and on your last magazine you see it. Pillars of flesh, light coming from impossible angles, walls so filled with insects you can barely distinguish the hard rock they cling to. Monstrocities so massive and abhorrent you fail to grasp their existence, and in the center stands the Queen. There's no time to falter, no going back now. Rock and stone, until it is done.

Heart Of The Hive

This is meant to be a sort of extraction song for Deep Rock Galactic, its idea was to get more and more intense as time went on, and end at around five minutes and a half since that's when the timer ends on a mission failed. Sure the vast majority of times it'll never get there, but I can only imagine how thrilling it'd be to extract at the last second having listened to the entirety of this beast!

​This is my submission for Lone Rabbit's OST Composing Jam #5.

​It's my first time ever doing anything like this, so I barely know what I'm doing but hey, it's been really fun!

I've written a main theme for an imaginary little adventure game (I imagine it would be a mix between Journey and Spiritfarer, where you'd sail across a beautiful sea of stars exploring, making friends and finding meaning in life).

Originally I wanted to write two more tracks, a little exploration theme and some battle music, but as it turns out I barely had time to finish this one. Talk about high expectations!

Our Last March

"It was like nothing we'd ever seen before... a colossal mass of whatever-the-hell, writhing tentacles of flesh, bone and... h-hair...

That Thing moaned and groaned lazily in the darkness, as if in pain. Not glyphid, not rockpox- at least I don't think so... And fast, it was impossibly fast. Took out two of us immediately, crushing one and dragging another into the darkness, all we heard was screams and bone cracking...

When we were finally able to shoot a flare next to it we saw... Gods, its face... its massive, distorted dwarven face, so twisted as to be unrecognizable, but I'd recognize it anywhere. The nose, that damn braided beard, now impossibly elongated and turning into tentacles. How could this place turn him into that? all we knew is... somehow we had to kill him.

And that's what I'm doing, right now. *two digital beeps are heard in the background, as well as unnatural moans far away* Rescue Team's Engi told me how to arm this thing, Unkhar's something-or-other. Told me to do so after I hear their pod leaving... Might as well, can't run away with a broken leg, heh. 

*the moans approach, slowly and steadily*

Our only luck was when it consumed Driller... all the sudden rockpox blisters started sprouting from the Thing's body, new tentacles started trying to tether it to the rock below... I see it right now, dragging its disgusting mass here for another tasty dwarf snack

*digital beeps speed up, the groans get louder and louder*

Hope someone's recording this... Sorry for broadcasting live on an open channel DRG, I understand you were trying to keep this whole thing a secret... I just hope this really takes him out, he deserves peace... *beeps speed up again, the moaning is right there* Oh and Scout! I told him to run away, if he gets away from the blast in time you NEED to

*screams, dragging and bones cracking as the beeps stop, then an explosion of white noise followed by the signal cutting out* "

Additional Notes:
Shitshow, right from the start. Enemy density was severely higher than expected, and contact with Subject K-01 could not be avoided.
The Stray Asset Team were uncooperative, dragging around their Driller even though he was clearly full of Rockpox. They were all starting to show signs of Core Madness, just like previously observed with Subject K-01.
Speaking of Subject K-01, its biology seemed to suddenly change when in contact with Rockpox. This change slowed it down, and I believe it was the only reason why any of us were able to make it back alive. I've attatched a video of it to this report.
We were able to arm Unkhar's Mighty Arseblaster (I'm never letting Driller choose codenames again), and instructed the Stray Team's engineer as to its operation. At this moment, the Stray Team's scout realized our actual priorities and managed to get away, despite our best efforts to neutralize him.
I understand this report will get buried just as everything else related to Subject K-01, but that Engineer should be remembered as a hero. I'll light a candle at the Memorial Hall for him, and whoever's reinterpreting this, you should too.

Mission Status: Completed.

Report submitted for corporate reinterpretation."

Karl's Final Death

This song is a commission I made a while ago, for a mod with the same name. It was made as a 3-phase bossfight song with a couple different loop points.

The mod itself isn't done yet, but I was free to do whatever I wanted with the song, so I added it to my soundtrack expansion mod and now released it as a bonus track in the New Depths album. Rock and stone, enjoy!
