Electronic soul artist DEMIMA further introduces herself with her latest project, ALT. FRQNC (Alternative Frequency), a sensual sonic journey through her world of fresh fruits, flowers and dope beats.

An unorthodox yet relatable UK sound, ALT. FRQNC is an expression of DemiMa’s Anglo-Zulu heritage from her south London perspective.

Following her debut single ‘SONDELA’ (ft Emmavie), the 7-track soundscape intersperses intricate rhythms, 808 and synth-heavy productions by DEMDRUMS, enhanced with DemiMa’s dulcet tones, clean hooks and provocatively conscious lyricism.

Capturing the essence of DemiMa’s live performances, her ‘voxstrumentals’ are avant-garde interludes assembled by vocal looping with psychedelic effects giving the listener insight into DemiMa’s psyche. The aptly named ‘Calm Suite’ features south London prodigy, Lorenz Okello.
