En un equilibrio perfecto entre entidades contundentes y distintivas, Blime Dust y The Undertaker’s Tapes unen fuerzas en un paisaje sonoro narrativo nítido que explora la siniestra atmósfera de Sheol.
Esta primera colaboración da lugar a un arte sonoro experimental único, en el que voces distorsionadas y llenas de rabia, tambores de guerra destructivos, guitarras ásperas o ruidos abstractos proporcionan una interpretación que viene de lo más profundo.

Premiere: Apnée Artefact is presenting their first release called Crossing Sheol by Blime Dust and The Undertaker's Tapes.

Sheol, translated as « common grave of humanity » or « abyss » is the underworld of the Old Testament. A place which all the dead souls go and remain until the Last Judgement ; both the righteous and the wicked, regardless of the moral choices made in life. A place of stillness and darkness cut off from God.

In a perfect balance between forceful distinctive entities, Blime Dust and The Undertaker’s Tapes join forces on a sharp narrative soundscape probing the sinister atmosphere of Sheol.
This first collaboration gives rise to an unique experimental sonic art, in which rage-filled distorted vocals, destructive war drums, harsh guitars or abstract noises provide a performance coming from deep down inside.

For the powerful “HII Forest”, Äitee came up with a menacing and eerie atmosphere triggered by an unyielding ghostly layer and metallic percussive elements resulting in a psychedelic and trippy experience enhanced if you dare dance to it at a packed and sweaty dance floor with the eyes closed. “WOMB” marks OTTOMAN GRÜW’s first long format release and debut release on @x-img. This seven track album seamlessly integrates his varied influences, showcasing his adeptness at traversing the expansive possibilities of Industrial inspired electronic music. Ominous atmospheres and rhythms cross between EBM, Techno, Electropunk and Ambient, with infectious vocal elements found throughout. The idea behind “WOMB” stems from the enigmatic relationship we cultivate with the divine - especially in our times of global sorrow, where faith wavers or seems elusive. The layer of noise by which every track is surrounded echoes the yearning of souls adrift. This spiritual disquiet is mirrored by the album’s sonic exploration of body horror, dissecting the vulnerability of our physical existence while reflecting the pervasive anxiety of our own impermanence. Where do we go when we dissolve?

Wow, time flies.

Tonight we're celebrating the 400th release on Brique Rouge, and honestly, I never thought we'd get this far when I started the label in 1999.
Twenty-six years later, we're still keeping a certain idea of house, techno, and electronic music in general alive.
The vibe comes first, fun above all else.

So yeah, we're not the talk of the town, we don't have one of our tracks in the latest Yoplait commercial, and Spotify doesn't even pay us anymore because we're so insignificant.
So what?

We're still here, and we'll go as far as we can.
I keep saying “we,” but I'm not talking about myself as if I were His Majesty the Director. No, I say “we” to highlight the myriad of artists who are part of the adventure and who are increasingly...  more
