This re-edit used the William Orbit Kee Club version as the basis.  My mix restructures the song to mirror the structure of the album version.  If you ever get a chance to see the live performance of this song from the MDNA Tour, it'll blow you away...literally.  

Gang Bang (William Orbit Kee Club Her-issue Re-Edit)

I used three versions of Falling Free for this radio edit.  William Orbit posted the Ferry Corsten Remix as well as the William Orbit LEAF Remixes which were used as the basis.  I combined and restructured these mixes to mirror the structure of the original album version.  I also used a slightly slowed down ending from the album version of the song to finish it off.  You'll notice strings are used more prominently in my version which was added throughout the entire mix.  

Falling Free (Ferry Corsten Strings Her-issue Re-Edit)

This re-edit took me a bit of time to make as it uses elements from three different remixes of the song (Miami Mix, Miami Mix Dub and Miami Mix Alternative Ending).  I like this version better than any that were released.  I structured this mix to start with the lone castanets found in the dub version and used elements of guitar where I could rather than piano which is used so heavily in the original Miami Mix version.  I slowed the tempo a bit as well.  Enjoy!


Don't Cry For Me Argentina (Miami Mix Her-issue Re-Edit)

This re-edit uses the Human Club Mix as the basis for this edit.  However, I slowed the tempo considerably and added in "absolutely no regrets" at the end of the song from the video version.

Love Spent (William Orbit Mash Experiment Her-issue Re-Edit)

This re-edit uses the Sasha Ultra Violet Mix as the basis of the song.  For this version, I edited the lengthy remix down to a shorter version, slowed the tempo a bit, and added the operatic intro that William Orbit uses in a couple of his remixes.

Ray of Light (Sasha Ultra Violet Her-issue Re-Edit)

Earlier this year William Orbit graciously shared some remixes from tracks he produced for the MDNA album.  This re-edit simply cuts the song down to a radio edit length from its original 9 minute plus length by shortening the intro and cutting off the last half of the mix.

This  remix uses various elements from The Silver Screen Mix and Dub versions.

Causing A Commotion (Silver Screen Mix Her-issue Re-Edit)

This re-edit was made using 3 remixes of this song...Extended Remix, Dub, and Shep Pettibone Route 88 Extended Remix.

Where's The Party (Extended Remix Her-issue Re-Edit)

The re-edit uses the Orbit Alternative Mix and the Orchestral Versions.  I think this version has an elegance that trumps the album version.

This track was made using the Stuart Price's DJ Set Mix of Secret Garden (Madonna vs Pepe Bradock). I thought it worked perfectly as a mash-up with Rescue Me.

I am a rather big Madonna fan and have been ever since seeing her Borderline video in 1984 which inspired me to buy the 45rpm of the same title.  Little did I know, that it would be the first Madonna song in what would become a vast collection spanning 30+ years.  The collection is full of demos, remixes, acapella, dub, studio, and instrumental versions.  

I first started editing music to fill a void in my collection.  About 2 years ago I was trying to put a Madonna playlist together in iTunes which consisted of radio edits of any and all Madonna songs that had been released as a remix.  Unfortunately, some of the songs did not have official radio edit versions.  So I downloaded editing software and began what would become a love of making re-edits from official versions.  I have great respect for all of the original producers and remixers who created the originals.   For me, my re-edits present a fresh approach to songs that are like old friends.  I welcome feedback, input and suggestions.  Like Madonna says "Music makes the people come together."  Enjoy!!!
