Australian producer Aaron Static returns to Slime after his previous release ‘Reflections’ on the imprint showcased his incredible flair for melody across a wide spectrum of genres. Since then he’s dropped his debut album ‘Redemption’ on native label This Is For You, and has been increasing his already considerable following with his sought-after bootlegs and mixes. For his sophomore effort with Slime he delivers two cuts that have become firm fan favourites already.

'I Won’t' sweeps in on a plaintive piano groove, wrapped around a gossamer percussive lilt that builds and builds into a truly beautiful garage roller. Mournful vocals and subtle keys add texture to the rhythm as the bassline adds pure warmth to proceedings.

'Take Me' takes an even more atmospheric route to you heart, with bubbling synths and ethereal vocals drenched over skeletal drums and a subterranean bassline with a refined subtlety that draws you in deeper and deeper.

This contain some orchestral parts which were composed during summer 2013 as an experiment with new DAW synthesisers and loop machines, we liked the result so it finally got as an interlude to the electronic track.
