When Chris Rock released a documentary about "Good Hair", in which he began research on natural hair it sparked a rise in the natural hair movement in african american culture. I took a visit to Inga's lashes and more where i spoke with some of the ladies about natural hair

As an intern at WLOR 98.1 The Beat I have been an on air announcer at this station. This portfolio is a live recorded shift on Sunday August 29,2018. Within my shift, from 4pm until 8pm I have breaks every 15 minutes including one at the top of the hour and the end. My breaks consist of things going on with artist, weather and a huge focus on event going on in the community. I try to spread the word about family oriented events that are kid friendly and usually free. This is my primary focus, to let the listeners know about whats going on and what to look forward to. My breaks also consist of promotions for 98.1 The Beat including the website, social media and the free app that is available for download.
