A young girl is afraid of the unfamiliar feelings of falling in love. She fears rejection by the person she adores. She expresses herself in a poem/love letter addressed to her prospective lover after feeling like there was more than a mere friendship between them. Fun fact: This piece of writing was actually shared with that person in her teenage years shortly after it was written.

Possibilities (Part I)

Natural disasters will present themselves in life. Sometimes we see them coming. Other times we absolutely do not. Either way, the strong souls will find a way to get through.

This is a story of a girl caught off guard by a sudden, unexplained halt to a budding romance. She gets the chance to face a person she'd lost and mourned. She's finding that sometime's weathering the storm doesn't necessarily prepare you for the aftermath. 

Hurricane

"Who run the world? Girls" This is for all of the ladies that has ever, even for a moment, settled in life and in love. Forgotten who she was and whose she was. Child of God, Daughter of a King, I see you Queen.

Untraditionally apologetic words spoken after a small misunderstanding between lovers. 

The Apology

There comes a time when choosing everyone but yourself becomes crippiling. You are never able to move on until you channel the self love and determination that is required to do so. 
You have to put yourself first before you are able to share yourself with another.

I Choose Me

A good woman is a rarity. Not everyone can handle all that comes with her. Make the mistake of losing her, and learn a lesson you'll have for the rest of your days.

Treasure

A shift happens and you reunite with a soulmate after a lifetime apart and in the dark. 

Reunion

Every former moment, every former lover, every former circumstance has been preparation for this moment.
