Moving dance floors since the age of fifteen, South African producer and DJ Cuebur has teamed up with velvet voiced singer Vikter Duplaix to bring you ‘I See You’ on Soul Heaven. Without a doubt the tour de force in ‘I See You’ are the silky Casanova vocals by Duplaix, which make slow nods to the bedroom and 90’s RnB. The original mix explores the tender side of house music, effortlessly interweaving pillowy 808 toms with dim lit synth stabs, while the energetic remix by Andre Lodemann displays the producer’s abilities to create dazzling dance floor music. Together the two versions are sure to shift the spotlight towards Cuebur and the South African house movement within the international dance music scene.

You’ve found yourself on the edge of what’s next for Om Records. Architects & Waves is a new album featuring 16 new & unreleased tracks recorded exclusively for the project exploring the intersections of Indie, chill-wave, minimal, down-tempo and disco. 

Here's the world premiere of Italy’s DJ Tennis (founder of Life and Death) and Kidhead (Pillowtalk) with ‘The Last Page’ who deliver a radio hit that could easily see play on KCRW or Sirius XM Blog Radio.

Back in July, No 19 Music released a hugely impressive debut album from Louie Fresco that helped propel the young Mexican star into the Musical stratosphere, just where he belongs. Now the always innovative label run by Art Department’s tastemaking chief Jonny White revisit the gems of Autophobia and ask a mouth-watering selection of contemporary top producers to breath their own life into the standout originals. Coming from all backgrounds including acid and techno, disco and house, the diverse artists involved in this great package are all the best in their respective fields.
Up first are Life and Death label regulars Thugfucker, who have released some of the most enduring remixes and originals of recent times. Their interpretation of ‘So Good Interlude’ is a deliciously deep and brooding affair that journeys through mystical night skies sprinkled with distant twinkling melodies and underpinned by a fantastically pained bassline: It is sure to make for real drama in clubs when dropped at the right time.
Next up is Californian Acid Test and Absurd associate Tin Man, who is known for crafting sublimely new and exciting acid forms with his Roland 303 in both EP and LP format. His remix of ‘Do Ya’ is a supple, elastic thing that is deep but driven at the same time. Before long, his squelchy, siren-like acid line comes in and brings with it real dancefloor tension, before it slowly melts away into melodic bliss only to return once more in anger. The producer’s dub mix of the same track is a slower and more purposeful head-wrecker with lashings of acid and plenty of dark energy in the drums.
The much lauded Eric Volta is next, a producer has proven himself to be something of a magical synth-crafting genius with exquisite tracks on this label as well as Visionquest and Ellum Audio. His remix combines two originals, ‘Missunderstood’ and ‘So Good’ into a genre defying fusion of punchy drum breaks, freaky electronic atmospheres and freeform synth patterns. It’s a complex, writhing and ever changing beast that has to be heard to be believed.
Australian Brohn, who has rightfully started to carve a cult following with his dark, twisted and infectious sounds and impressive DJ residency at Circo Loco (Aus), is next. He tackles ‘Do Ya’ and flips it into a tight, bulky House affair with a busy, bobbling bassline, ghoulish vocal samples and chattery percussion. It’s a track that builds plenty of pressure and never lets up, and one that will demand the attention of dancefloors all over the world.
The young Parisian production duo Villanova go last with a remix of ‘Hunter Pray.’ This one is a foreboding, warm and rubbery bit of techy excelence with edgy synth details, lots of opposing textures and a marching groove that is ready made for late night dancing.
This is a thoughtfully diverse package that showcases the skills of many different, and unique, producers, and is a fine testament to the quality of Louie Fresco’s original tracks.

Based in Berlin, Kruse and Nuernberg have become an integral part of the underground electronica scene, synonymous with tastefully crafted house music and a tight relationship with established German label OFF recordings. The duo are notorious for working different influences and collaborators into their repertoire, and the release of ‘Lost n Free’ on March 10th continues their tradition of high quality output. 
 
This time, they have collaborated with British producer and songwriter Brolin, who has written a heart melting vocal for this release. As the lyrics and melody swirl across an uplifting instrumental, it becomes obvious that ‘Lost n Free’ is the soundtrack for those introspective, early morning moments.

The B side, ‘Doin It’ takes the release underground with its pulsing synths and piano stabs that gradually build over contagious basslines and swung drum hits.
 
Studio wizard and moodmusic head honcho Sasse and the increasingly popular ED ED, took over the mixing desk in a collaborative effort to rework ‘Lost n Free’ . In doing so, they created a softer, evolving remix, keeping the melodic elements alive, whilst adding their own flow to it. 
 
This OFF recordings EP is one for lovers of the deep, rich in melodies soul, and is not to be missed!
