Happy summertime ladies and genteels, we've got good news and some bad… 

The good is - after a prolonged ‘COVID times’ induced hibernation period - we’re back! And to welcome us back Kibosh has kindly emptied his robot studio of all the odds and ends that he's been keeping 'somewhere safe’, to serve up this rip thumping summer funk-stroller ‘Struck’ - which is yours for free! Oh no, you're very welcome!

The bad news is you're going to have to actually get dressed*, put on your pants, roll up your sleeves and join us on the dancefloor! It's ok, it's in our back garden, don't worry about the wasps, we've got them drunk on ginger tears. Kibosh is giving out mats on the helter skelter, there's a flaccid bouncy castle and I'm looking after the tunnel of goats! The neighbours are on holiday, the Scour bar is stocked with Corona (it was on special), bring lemons, bring handcuffs, bring your beautiful selves and let's get lemonadey lockedup filthy!

@kibosh-music casually shimmies through the multiverse wearing a viking helmet and thong, riding on a shiny industrial time machine vacuum, carefully snorting up all the cool beats and sweet riffs like a laser guided Mr. Snuffleupagus. Once his beat bag is full, off he potters to his intergalactic viking repair shop and cobbles together tracks of double-awesome-happy-times!

Because Scour Records' foundations are built on double-awesome-happy-times we commissioned the construction of space shuttle Orgasmatron - out of toilet roll holders and my little pony glue - and travelled to planet Kibosh to negotiate a deal. The cosmic collector of robots and rainbows very kindly served us up this exceedingly tasty four track EP, plus an accompanying Freemix…and free love, and world peace..but hey, grab this EP first, free love and world peace can be his next two releases.

Scour is over the moon to welcome and present to you the joy that is Kibosh!

@kibosh-music casually moonwalks back into our Scour universe from his intergalactic viking repair shop - we love these visits from the sexy one, but really want to question him on his viking repairing skills (is there an online course?) …and actually is there even that much call for it these days? 

But Hey! Apart from all the pillaged and the ones cut down by sharp swords, we all love a viking! And we love Kibosh’s visits as he always brings the happiness. Thankfully this time it’s a towering strutting’ slab of hammond funk, last time he he bought a troupe of aroused kung fu pandas and covered us in eucalyptus oil and dressed us up to look like bamboo - which was hilarious but messy on the carpets and on reflection, our souls.

@kibosh-music, our very own Mr Myagi of space-funk returns to the Scouriverse to tinkle on our fallopians and rub on/rub off the sweet stuff. After his debut Scour EP he promised to deliver free love and world peace as his next offering and with ‘Breaking Blue’ he has now fulfilled the contractual obligation of free love. He’s currently busy fixing Brexit, so world peace is still scheduled via his next EP, and that’s a Scour-guarantee!

@kibosh-music has returned with a fist bumping funk roller stroller, essential for your sunshine barbecues! We watched him make this track and documented the steps for his upcoming cook book:

Drink tequila, preheat the grill, marinade a slab of lush funk in tambourines, sprinkle in a cup of cowbell, add a pinch of summer, drink tequila, remove the 12 minute freestyle solo and drink tequila! His mouth looks numb but he looks fabulous in that apron that looks like he’s wearing stockings and suspenders, he then pretends to be a robot with the spatulas as he drinks more tequila. He’s a genius! When he turned the slab of funk over he drinks more tequila! He then pretends to be the chef from the muppets before he drank tequila again, then he fell over and we watched the slab of funk burn like Daenerys Targaryon’s dragon eggs. We all woke up the next day naked and hey Presto! One severely tight re-bake of The Meters’ funk groover Pocky Way is yours forever, for free! Bon appetite!
