Future Wave is a collaborative project between So Future and New Wave serving as a dedicated platform to showcase the evolution and diversity of Electronic music, with a special focus on finding and amplifying talented emerging DJs and well-seasoned established talent alike. Future Wave seeks to fill the gap in opportunities specifically for Black talent in the Electronic music scene by creating space for them both online and IRL. This mix from kenzel was delivered as part of the B2B set featured at our Shoreditch House x Future Wave event held in November 2023.

🔌  Born and raised in the beautiful culture and city of London, @thekidkenzel is a genre-defying maestro, leading the charge with kanvas, a new night in London that showcases various genres whilst celebrating diverse musical genres with London's most exciting new DJs. With appearances on esteemed platforms such as Soulection Radio, The Future Beats Show, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1xtra, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM, Reprezent Radio, and Foundation FM, Kenzel came in guns blazing with his dynamic style, as he seamlessly blends genres and eras featuring a plethora of edits, dubs, and more, showing this new exciting era in electronic music we're in!

There are many ways to describe Connect Zero, but unique, talented, and charismatic just seem to scratch the surface. However, there is one word that ties them all together and is true to their character: Connect Zero is Real. Few people speak so honestly from their heart and soul. Connect Zero does so in just the right way, combining art, story, and song in perfect unison. Take a look around the site, and explore what the gift of music truly is. Connect Zero is an Atlanta based artist who was born in Portland Oregon, and grew up studying the likes of KanYe West, Lil Wayne, Pharrell Williams & Outkast. Connect Zero is an energetic artist with a lot of color, Connect Zeros “Live For The Night” Attitude Results in rebellious music, mosh pits, singalongs and a lot of of hype energy. Connect Zero make heartbreak music that we all can still party to, His first official project was released on May 22nd 2018 as an early project titled "The Goal", The Goal was a 6 Song, 16 minute project that was created in a matter of 24 hours. a few months later came the birth of another project, this one being double the run-time as the first. with a total of 10 songs, on August 6th 2018 "The Greater Good" was released after being conceived in 7 complete days, this album would speak about the hardships of losing Family members, Lovers, Friends, and motivation. on January 11th 2019, Connect Zero decided to break out a second full length project to start off the first quarter of the new year with his longest, most adventurous body of work yet. With FifthPower construction the artwork and multiple producers, Connect Zero made a 19 song album weighing in at over 55 minutes long. with features from Xhristo, Vell Mula, Doja & More, this would be his most ambitious project yet. this project is titled "Let's Go Nowhere!!!". The title and the cover art link together and play into the theme of feeling stagnant, as if Connect Zero wasn't progressing. the cover art showed the artist falling from the floor into a portal to be released out of a portal directly onto of that one to show that he wasn't going anywhere, he was stuck in a never ending paradox. Not too long after that "Beautiful Loser" was born! Released on February 12th 2019, connect zero released a 7 song, 20 minute Visual Album just in time for valentines day, Titled "Beautiful Loser". Following up that melodramatic album was the energetic compilation of 11 songs named "Heart Of Satan". with features from: Jame$ Brannon, FOREVER AnTi PoP & the one and only, Vell Mula. One month following the release of the H.O.S. Project, Connect Zero Released 2 Singles, "Water Color Canvas", a song dedicated to his love of art and hatred towards simplicity, and "Free Taliban", an Ode to a Close Friend of his.
