"Rhythms Of The Underground" is a set deeply inspired by the unique and captivating sound of Petrified Phoenix. The style of the label fits very well with my own, and it was a great pleasure to meet some of the DJs from the label. I sincerely hope our paths will cross again.

DJing and creating magical moments with my electronic sound is my true passion, and this set represents a significant step toward realizing my dream of gaining a foothold in the Cologne techno scene. I hope it resonates with you as much as it does with me.

Rhythms Of The Underground

Tiko aka Tim Kochanski is a Techno DJ & Producer from Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Fascinated by electronic sounds since the early 1990s, his interest in Techno music was growing bigger and bigger.
Back in 2005 he recived his first Technics-Turntables and a Pioneer DJM600 Mixer, so he was able to started improving his DJ-skills very fast and he was soon able to present his Definition of Techno on early gigs.
Till now he played in such legendary Clubs as Butan Club  Studio Essen; Fusion Club; Rheingold  And Festivals like Nature One Festival, Ruhr in Love and World Club Dome
Beside his own partys as PARTYKUMPEL RUHRGEBIET, he is a regular guest on the ACID WARS and TECHNO RULEZ! Partys.
A few years ago he thought, that just playing other acts tracks wasn't enough any more, so he started to find out his own way of producing Techno music. He found his way in Ableton Live and now is able to present his very own definition of Techno music.

Leipzig based DJ and Producer began his career at the tender age of 14 at the legendary club “Tresor”. His style is his interpretation of techno from east Germany, hard and powerful bass techno. dieser typ hier ist seit´95 total techno süchtig, er liebt ebenfalls jungle und tech house und um ruhe zu finden, drum n bass und electronica. in den letzten 6 jahren bis heute, wenn es ihm die zeit erlaubt^^, versucht er techno oder tech house zu mixen aber der weg zur perfektion ist unendlich lang ;)
