Music for the Color Yellow was Kidd Dirty's first album that was not Hip-Hop or R&B. Using and fusing different styles of jazz and mixing them with classic Hip-Hop drumlins Kidd Dirty found a smooth and cosmic blend that he felt could only be described in color. 
Originally released in 2005 (by Ill Rated Studios) to a purely Euro market "Music for the Color Yellow" had also had a limited re-released (by AshWood Projects) in 2011 in both Euro and US markets.
