For our sixth release we welcome a young producer hailing from Bogota, Colombia. https://soundcloud.com/buraye has been working on his sound for almost a decade now and he’s the co-founder of the From The Void Above label, having released great records from the like of Muten, Eliaz and Do Or Die. His Transcendence EP will be released on Griffé in september 2021. The record consists of four high-energy dance-floor oriented tracks with acid, trancey and electro elements. Hybrid productions bringing both analogue and digital components to create a fractal and entheogen mood.

This work, influenced mainly by acid sounds and rhythms that fuse house, techno and trance, travels through complex and surroundings structures in an atmosphere of apocalyptic science. On the A-side, Dawl delivers 'Microbe', a sleek acid slow burning that truly stalks the listener, before Kiddmisha ups the speed and the eerie moodiness with 'Anxiety'. Acid Charlie's 'Por La Paz' has the most old school favour of the quartet - even before sirens hit - underpinned by a thunderous drum machine. Then the mysterious producer SPAC closes the single with more cunningly employed acid shenanigans.

@yuri-ruggieri loves to experience sound in all its particularities by absorbing the influences from old vinyls and drawing inspiration from the great artists of the current music scene and translating all his research and academic career into the Recreative school in Milan.

His productions are magnetic and pungent creating sound balances, however he is not limited only to techno music but instead combines disco, progressive, ebm and house thus managing to create a specific and peculiar sound.

All tracks were recorded in one take, coming straight from the machines, passing through the pedal board into the mixer, with little to non post production, giving them its raw and colorful sound.  

The EP includes two tracks from the labels creative force Nulek and a couple of collaborations with producers JJ Beteta and Telva. Offering us dark tones, hard hitting bass lines and tight percussions that transports the listener into a high energy dancefloor.

Following his debut release on kindred label Marginal Returns, Undersound is very happy to present a new EP by London-based producer and close friend @sohrab_dj. 

This EP showcases his wide ranging influences, with a diverse sound palette, while demonstrating his already-established personal aesthetic. 
The EP opens with “The Fool”, a steady four-to-the-floor track with esoteric eastern-tinged melodies, and continues with “Vertical Alignment”, a bassline-led emotional trip with interlocking evolving harmonies. 

The flip offers two contrasting moods: the rougher “Resolution”, a fast-paced late-night burner, and “Digital Bliss”, whose soothing synths evoke old school Goa vibes.
