Kid Hawk is the creation of Emily Einhorn.  At various points in her life, Einhorn has been an internationally ranked Irish dancer, an extra in Home Alone 2, an instructor at Baby DJ School, and an assistant at a high-fashion photo studio. But she has always been a songwriter.  Her first single as Kid Hawk, “Turn the Volume Up”, was released in the summer of 2018 and spawned the studio project into a full-fledged band with Einhorn on vocals/guitar, Peter Ingles (Robot Princess) on drums and bassist Mem Pahl (Jeffrey Lewis, Teenage Halloween).   The NYC-based trio recently performed at the final AntiFolk festival at the legendary Sidewalk Café.
