This is a beat I made on my SP-555 sampling some of the music from the movie "House of Flying Daggers".  That film has an epic soundtrack w/ a world of dope, unique samples, especially for audio phrases to stack on top of a dope, bass-heavy hip hop breaks. I built a 36-pad sample bank construction kit i w/ just samples from House of Flying Daggers & Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.  Gold mines

This is a beat I made sampling a scene from the classic martial-arts movie “Bloodsport” with JCVD. I fucking loved that movie so much when I was a kid and from then on, I’ve been a huge martial arts & combat sports fan. Bloodsport is full of dope samples. The intro I took from the scene where JCVD asks his Sensei for permission to fight in the Kumite, the “Teach me, I can do it” scene. I used to shadowbox and get hella motivated by that scene. Just added an intro and voice samples to this beat I made sampling an audio phrase from a Mike Tyson documentary.  The intro comes from a speech Mike Tyson did about intimidation and facing your fears and doubts with growing confidence  and a trained, battle-ready mind. EPIC

This track includes 3x beats I made from sampling Tango music from Argentina. I had no idea how big of a sample goldmine Tango is, but turns out that’s the case.  This track is from a freestyle performance I did using a sample construction kit I built over 3 days on my KORG microSAMPLER.
