Il y a plus de trente ans, j'ai habité sur un boulevard au trafic routier incessant et très bruyant. Cette artère était empruntée des dizaines de fois par les véhicules de secours qui se rendaient aux urgences près de chez moi. Et pour combler le tout, les chambres de l'appartement que je louais étaient mitoyennes avec le quai de livraison d'un supermarché. L'enfer!
Mes voisins de palier étaient un couple de personnes âgées qui vivait là depuis toujours. Quand je leur ai demandé si le bruit ne les dérangeaient pas, ils m'ont répondu tous les deux "Ah mais pas du tout! On a l'habitude et on ne pourrait plus s'en passer, ça nous rassure!"
Vous aurez donc compris que ce blues burlesque est pour eux qui n'auraient certainement pas supporté de vivre à la campagne.

To start this new year on positive waves, I concocted this track trying to create the atmosphere of the concert halls! (I think of Maze, EWF, Kool & the Gang) which I had the chance to see in the 80's in Paris). A good groove, some nice keyboards loops, a bass of hell, samples of voices and public, drums, percussions, some notes of sax at the end and claps as needed, a good dose of reverberation for Give this effect which, I hope, will remind you of the incomparable atmosphere we live in big concerts! In a way, a tribute to all these fantastic artists who know how to vibrate thousands of people, together during these highlights! Amen!

I allowed myself to change the title. Indeed, I narrate a text by Jacques Prévert (1900-1977) "En été comme en hiver" WICH YOU WILL FIND THE TRANSLATION BELOW. I tried to find out more about this wonderful poetry that was written by the poet for a show, but it seems hard to know more. I'm not sure that the tone on which i narrate is the right one, but that's what inspired me. A mixture of dramatic and ironic.
I remixed a little and I added some sounds to give a little more realism. I hope you enjoy my version.

Je me suis permis de changer le titre. En effet, je narre un texte de Jacques Prévert (1900-1977) "En été comme en hiver" . J'ai tenté d'en savoir plus sur cette magnifique poésie qui a été écrite par le poète pour un spectacle, mais il semble difficile d'en savoir plus. Je ne suis pas certain que le ton sur lequel je le dis soit le bon, mais c'est ce qu'il m'a inspiré. Un mélange dramatique et ironique.
J'ai remixé un peu et j'ai ajouté quelques sons pour donner un peu plus de réalisme. J'espère que vous apprécierez cette version.

EN ETE COMME EN HIVER

in the mud in the dust
lying on old newspapers
